Master-klass on russian folk dance

Moscow Club BPW whose main purpose is support of creative activity of
women working in the sphere of culture and education invntes all women
(teachers and leaders of dance bodies of European counteirs), as well
as who have desire to be tanght russian folk dance on a level of
master-class.
Rhythmic and plasticity of russian folk dance have its deep roots and
traditions. To learn to dance a round dance or dance dashingly "Kadryl"
one can get acquainted with a history and traditions of russian people,
to visit russian cities, to take part in village festiviteis.
If you like folk dance and teach it to young dancers, it will be
interesting for you to participate in this program. Participation
in master-class will help you not only to master the art of russian
folk dance, but also to understand "a misterious soul" of russian
people.

Purposes and program
|
|
Purpose - to acquaint the
teachers of folk dance and all those who are cager to be acquainted,
with cultural dance traditions of Russia, to help them in mastering
the techniques of russian folk dance.
Program:
- acquaintance with a russian dance as a national property
of Russia;
- learning of the main movements of russian folk dance,
the ways of combination;
- acquaintance with particular features of russian folk dance;
- types of russian folk dance: round dance, kadril;
- creative meetings with national russian bodies and leaders
of folk dance ( company I.Moisseev, company "Beriosska", company
"Gzhel" and others).

The program master-class will lact four days ( stadies from 10.00.tell 18.00),
a diploma is handed at the end of the course.
The master-class will be lead Gvozdewa Tatiana - a leading specialist on russian
folk dance, ballet-master, a teacher of Culture University.
The namber of participants of a master-class is 20-30 dancers.
Time of the course - february 2001.
Approximante cost of a master-class is 470 EUR ( including teaching,
accimidation in a hotel. Getting 2 meals a day, transfer, giving a diploma).
