 Moscow club BPW has a main purpose: support of creative activity of women working in the sphere of culture and education. This club invites all women-painters to take part in an international plainer which will take place in particular place in Russia - in the city St.Petersburg
We invite you to get acquainted with a very rich history of Russia and imprint its beauty on your paintings.

The Purpose
|
|
Purpose: to establish creative contacts between women-artists of different countries
|
|
Tasks:
|
- acquaintance of participants of plainair with a culture of ancient Russia;
- acquaintance with Russian folk trade;
- search of new forms of creative representation of reality;
- exchange of experience between women-artists;
- support of creative activity of women-artists in different countries.

Dates and contests of the project
|
|
Dates of the project: January - September 2002.
Stage 1 - preparatory (January - March).
On this stage the program and the estimate are made up. As well as the sending of information in the Clubs BPW, gothering of proposition from those who wish to take part in this project.
Stage 2 - organization stage (April - June).
Interpretation of the project in mass media, organization of pleinair (preparation for the reception of the participants, reservation of hotels, transport, buging of equipment ets.). Official registration of documents.
Stage 3 - conducting of pleinair ( July).
Carrying out of the program, meetings with folk traders, attendance of ancient russian cities, creative process.
Stage 4 - summing up.
Organisation of exhibitions of paintings of women- in Moscow and St-Petersburg (cities where there are Clubs BPW in Russia). Demonstration of the exhibition is also possible in other cities of Europe.

Terms of Participation:
|
|
- Professional artists can take part in the plainer.
- Artists can use their own materials or they can order needed materials beforehand from the organisers of the pleinair.
- Applications for participation should be sent (mail or fax) before Aprel 1, 2001.
- Registration fee is 100 $.
- Participants are expected to 2 the pictures done during the plainer to be used at discretion of organisers.
- After the pleinair it is planned to organise exhibitions of the participants’ works in several cities and towns in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, etc.).
- Participants should send in one photo of themselves for a booklet, which is planned to be published after the pleinair.
